PINWHEELS
Forest Oak artists on all grade levels joined students all over the world to celebrate an International Day of Peace, September 21. We made hundreds of pinwheels, which were displayed in an art installation in front of our school. You can see a list of cities on every continent where students participated in the pinwheels project, at the Pinwheels for Peace website, on the location page.

Masks have been created on every continent and in every known culture since earliest times. Masks serve a number of functions and each society has developed recognizable design characteristics. These papier mache masks were produced after studying masks of various cultural groups.
